ABOUT THE TRAINING

The training will take place over three days and will begin with an in-depth review of the Inside and Outside Window Brainspotting techniques, as well as the Gazespotting technique. Special emphasis will be placed on the clinical application of these techniques with clients.

  • One-Eye Brainspotting, which uses special one-eye glasses;
  • 3D Brainspotting using the so-called Z-axis from near and far, including convergent therapy based on vagal nerve stimulation through the ocular cardiac reflex;
  • Rolling Brainspotting, a technique involving slow eye tracking with brief stops at individual Brainspot points;
  • Inside-Outside Brainspotting, which combines client reflexes and felt sense in the search for Brainspot points;
  • Advanced Resource Model, which integrates One-Eye and 3D Brainspotting and is particularly useful with clients with complex PTSD and those outside the therapeutic window of tolerance.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Through lectures, live demonstrations of Brainspotting therapy, and practical work in small groups, participants will:

  • Review the fundamental principles and techniques from Phase 1 (Inside and Outside Window);
  • Deepen their understanding of attunement and limbic listening;
  • Acquire knowledge of advanced techniques (One-Eye Brainspotting, 3D approach, Rolling Brainspotting, Inside-Outside Brainspotting);
  • Master the use of the Advanced Resource Model with clients suffering from complex trauma.

METHODOLOGY

The training is practically oriented and includes:

  • Theoretical explanation of basic and advanced concepts;
  • Live demonstrations of therapeutic work;
  • Pair exercises for learning techniques;
  • Group discussions and experience sharing;
  • Opportunities to observe live therapy with volunteers.

Certificate

Participants receive an official certificate of attendance, which counts as a prerequisite for obtaining the international certificate from Brainspotting Training Inc.
