ABOUT THE TRAINING

Brainspotting (BSP) is a focused psychotherapeutic method that allows access to deep brain structures where traumatic and emotional experiences are stored. It can be easily integrated into various psychotherapeutic approaches. Brainspotting helps release neurophysiological tensions associated with trauma, dissociation, and diverse physical and emotional symptoms.

The method incorporates bilateral sound stimulation and is based on the precise connection between the client’s gaze and the activation of internal neurological material. It is a deep, direct, powerful, yet focused and safe approach. Brainspotting goes beyond the cognitive and verbal domains by accessing material usually outside the reach of conscious awareness and linguistic abilities.

As part of the training, you will learn about the neurobiological foundations of trauma, the core principles of the method, and its applications across a wide range of issues. Special emphasis will be placed on the practical use of the method. Upon completion of the training, you will be qualified to apply the Brainspotting method in your work with clients.
