DISCLAIMER
By selecting a member from our website, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following disclaimer:
-
Brainspotting Slovenia cannot guarantee that an individual’s qualifications and services are suitable for the needs of a particular person, nor does it warrant the authenticity of these qualifications.
-
Brainspotting Slovenia does not favor any individual therapist listed in the published directory. Verification of references, professional qualifications, and education of a therapist is the responsibility of each individual seeking psychotherapeutic support.
-
Brainspotting Slovenia brings together experienced professionals and students from a wide range of mental health fields, psychotherapeutic modalities, and sciences.
-
Brainspotting Slovenia is not responsible for negligence, malpractice, or any other harm caused to an individual by a therapist found through the published list on this website.
-
Professional recommendations and contact details of registered members are published to facilitate the selection of an appropriate therapist in your area.
-
Many therapists who are trained in their profession, as well as students who are not yet experts in their field of knowledge and practice, may incorporate the Brainspotting method into their work.
We strongly recommend that you ask each therapist you find on our website about their references, additional training, years of clinical practice, and anything else that would assure you of their professional knowledge and competence. This due diligence is the responsibility of the individual and not of Brainspotting Slovenia.
Choosing the Right Brainspotting Therapist:
Some therapists on the list have completed extensive training but may have limited clinical experience. Therefore, it is recommended to check with the specific therapist whether and how often they work with a professionally qualified supervisor, as well as how much personal Brainspotting experience they have completed.
We recommend asking your therapist how long they have been working with the issues for which you are seeking professional help, especially if these issues stem from unresolved psychological trauma. It takes years of practice, supervision, and training to become a competent, trustworthy, and high-quality therapist in deep trauma processing.
Completing Brainspotting training does not automatically mean that one is qualified to practice deep trauma psychotherapy.
