ABOUT THE TRAINING
The Aleceia method is based on more than 30 years of clinical experience by Mario C. Salvador and Carmen Cuenca from the Aleces Institute in Spain. It is an integrative approach that combines Relational Integrative Psychotherapy (Erskine), neuroscientific insights into trauma, and body-oriented mindfulness. It is grounded in a contemporary understanding of dissociation and ego fragmentation.
The aim of the method is to enable deep processing of traumatic experiences and the integration of implicit memories rooted in neurobiological structures that influence a person’s current functioning and quality of life.
The model emphasizes the brain’s self-healing capacities and the importance of the therapist’s presence, which—through full engagement—provides the client with a safe environment to face split-off material. Within this safe space, the client re-establishes contact with their experience, accepts it, and integrates it.
Special emphasis is placed on understanding the effects of dissociation on the sense of self. Through the therapeutic relationship and the therapist’s presence, the method fosters the client’s development of a compassionate relationship with their different inner states (ego states).

The participants will also deepen their understanding of inner psychological structures and processes. Special attention will be given to cultivating the client’s ability for conscious and mindful awareness of their internal experiences.
