ABOUT FREE WEBINAR

Psychedelics have been used for centuries as tools for accessing altered states of consciousness to support healing, insight, and personal transformation—both individually and collectively. The global “war on drugs” halted not only their legal use but also the scientific exploration of their therapeutic potential. However, since the 1990s, we have witnessed a powerful resurgence in psychedelic research, revealing significant promise in addressing trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.

Despite ongoing legal restrictions in many regions, a growing number of individuals are turning to psychedelics for personal growth, emotional healing, and spiritual exploration. As mental health professionals, we increasingly encounter clients engaging with psychedelic experiences in various contexts—alone, with sitters, or within ceremonial and guided settings. This makes it essential for therapists to be well-informed and prepared to offer safe, ethical, and supportive guidance.

This webinar focuses specifically on the preparation and integration of psychedelic experiences rather than conducting psychedelic-assisted therapy itself. Participants will gain practical knowledge, therapeutic insight, and clinical strategies to better support clients who choose to work with psychedelics.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • What psychedelic experiences are and which substances are most commonly used today for self-exploration and therapeutic purposes,
  • The healing potential of psychedelics from a psychological and trauma-informed perspective,
  • Risks, contraindications, and safety considerations related to psychedelic use,
  • The essential role of preparation and integration in maximizing healing benefits,
  • How to support clients during post-experience crisis or destabilization,

  • The application of Brainspotting in both preparation and integration processes.

WHO IS THIS WEBINAR FOR?

  • psychotherapists,

  • psychologists,

  • counselors,

  • social workers,

  • psychiatrists,

  • and other mental health professionals.
